Writer-director Jerome Sable, who co-wrote the songs with Eli Batalion, has a sharp ear for musical pastiche, from Andrew Lloyd Weber to heavy metal. But he comes up flat on the horror-musical spoof.

A beautiful slasher film. Original. Fun. Excellent cinematography. Exceptional music and a great on-screen killer. It doesn't deserve the hate it gets; it truly is a forgotten gem. Beautiful in every way.

Stage fright 2024 is a “original” idea with a scream style and a very cold humor stage fright is a great option like the original from 1987
