Varley’s grip, her taut observation of nerve-wracking isolation, loosens and the film devolves into a blunt and clichéd consideration of family. The transition is awkward, and more cartoonish than moving, as the performers try to regain their footing.

Don't you just hate when you see the trailer and your like wow that's looks like it might be pretty good! Well, it started off pretty good, and the story line flowed nicely then you get to the compound and the whole thing falls apart. Kate Mara, & Lawrence Fishburn did their best to salvage this film. The effects were pretty good, but this film was poorly directed, or it fell apart in the editing room. I can't believe that the Dailey's didn't show the poor direction this film was taking. It had lots of potential but hit a brick wall! Thank goodness it was on Disney, and I didn't pay 40 bucks plus concessions to see this movie!
