Sadly, it ultimately builds to a would-be shocking twist that is not nearly the game-changer it claims to be, leaving viewers with more questions than answers. Go to Full Review

The Astronaut has a lot going for it, but, like the lead character in the opening scenes, it doesn’t quite stick the landing. Go to Full Review

Varley’s grip, her taut observation of nerve-wracking isolation, loosens and the film devolves into a blunt and clichéd consideration of family. The transition is awkward, and more cartoonish than moving, as the performers try to regain their footing. Go to Full Review

Architecture fans will surely enjoy the gorgeous glass-walled house with its stunning green views; the film's finale is effective, too. But there's a chance you'll have aborted this mission long before that arrives. Go to Full Review

Writer-director Jess Varley delivers an engrossing, intriguing "after space" story that's only really weighed down by some low-orbit visual effects. Go to Full Review

Fernstell Mae L @RT64344869 18h it was unexpected to say the least, I thought it was all ptsd, hallucinations, trauma or something..but it was straight up weirdville..hence all good for me! See more Brian W. @Dadmyt 3d It started strong but far too many dumb things and plot holes to recommend spending time on watching it. See more Jim N 3d Don't you just hate when you see the trailer and your like wow that's looks like it might be pretty good! Well, it started off pretty good, and the story line flowed nicely then you get to the compound and the whole thing falls apart. Kate Mara, & Lawrence Fishburn did their best to salvage this film. The effects were pretty good, but this film was poorly directed, or it fell apart in the editing room. I can't believe that the Dailey's didn't show the poor direction this film was taking. It had lots of potential but hit a brick wall! Thank goodness it was on Disney, and I didn't pay 40 bucks plus concessions to see this movie! See more Pinoy Short R @emill_santos 4d Palyado. Mabagal ang takbo ng istorya. Pwede mong i fast forward sa last 20 minutes para mapadali ang panunuod. Alien movie sya na parang kinulang sa budget See more Jeffrey P @vanillavoodoo1 5d Started with good suspense and intrigue, then it revelaed its true form. See more Mike R @RT23137275 6d An utterly ridiculous film. I hope, in case they will do a sequel of this, that The Astronaut will have learned to close the doors already See more Read all reviews
