For me, that enhanced my third viewing of his story. What a beautiful, innocent soul this man has. (EG:-) "What do you want to be when you grow up?" asked Mole. "Kind" was the boy's response. Most people I know who have read the book or seen the film, give it praise. No wonder! The book sold eight million copies by 2022. I genuinely think this half-hour short film is really good. Honestly, it's probably bias talking since I was reminded of Where the Wild Things Are because of discussion of philosophical themes, and I really liked that movie. I thought that BMF&H had nice animation, good voice acting, compelling conversations and a terrific score resulting in a half-hour story that serves as a good introduction to younger audiences for "thinking man's" material. I wouldn't be surprised if this was shown in schools somewhere in the world. At its best, it was, for me at least, reminiscent of the kind of the media that would be shown at the schools I went to growing up. See more John M @John9999 Apr 27 The animation is nice, but the dialog is really heavy handedly trying to be the next Petit Prince. It's not genuine--it's trying too hard. At one point the horse says yet another word of wisdom, and the boy says "oh, I like that!", which just goes to show that the point of the whole thing is to dish out a list of words of wisdom.
