An absolute masterpiece! Franco should have won an Oscar for his performance. Insanely funny and it's not fiction, this movie parodies a film that somehow got made.

James Franco's performance is the best part of the movie, the humour mostly didnt work for me, it didnt really delve into Tommy the man much as hes so private so it limited the movie and it was pretty surface level. However it's well made it does try atleast to show us the enigma that is Tommy and his kind of sad delusion of grandeur and the good and bad of him that eventually churned out this crazy cult movie, the parts reenacted from The Room itself where pretty funny.

This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. The fact that everything in the movie is based off of a true story is absolutely wonderful to me, and James Franco's performance as the enigmatically ridiculous Tommy Wiseau was pure comedy. I definitely recommend this for comedy and drama fans!
