If you’re making a movie about a ventriloquist detective, you need to be prepared to go to some strange places. What we’re left with is a screenplay that promises something much weirder than it actually delivers.

The Dummy Detective is filled to the brim with jokes, delightful absurdity, and surprising twists. If a detective comedy starring a ventriloquist with his dummy as partner sounds like a fun time, you definitely should check out The Dummy Detective.

The Dummy Detective, is a fun, quirky, and all around good time of a movie. A spin on the 'who dun it' arc, it rides the coats tails of the definite guessing game of who is the suspect. With many twist and turns and of course creepy, but funny ventriloquist dummies, The Dummy Detective is a favorable, keep you laughing and head scratching kind of film.

Classic film noir style with a detective murder mystery story with some comedy elements. And ventriloquism which adds to the charm. Very unique as im not sure this concept has ever been done in a full length movie. Excellent well written gripping plot, fantastic story and likeable characters. Superb acting this is a must watch you wont be disappointed!

My wife and I love a good detective mystery story. This one did not disappoint. If like a good mystery, I recommend it. Also, if you love ventriloquism, like I do, that’s just a bonus.
