Based on the acclaimed, contemporary love story of the same name, The Idea of You centers on Solène (Anne Hathaway), a 40-year-old single mom who begins an unexpected romance with 24-year-old Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine), the lead singer of August Moon, the hottest boy band on the planet. When Solène must step in to chaperone her teenage daughter's trip to the Coachella Music Festival after her ex bails at the last minute, she has a chance encounter with Hayes and there is an instant, undeniable spark. As they begin a whirlwind romance, it isn't long before Hayes' superstar status poses unavoidable challenges to their relationship, and Solène soon discovers that life in the glare of his spotlight might be more than she bargained for.

I absolutely loved this movie and like some of the other reviewers mentioned, their chemistry is undeniable and amazing to watch and very believable. I only wish it was real enough to find a love like that for myself haha😔🩷 but I personally, thoroughly enjoyed it, not just because of Anne and Nicholas chemistry but it was also heartfelt and a feel good movie, honest in the way that people are really like that, have to get involved, like to criticise and just be down right nasty. So the movie is abit of an insight into people, social media, relationship's, finding love where you least expect it, even if there is an age gap. So overall, I really loved this movie and loved the chemistry they had for one another on screen. A movie very well done 👌🙏😊🩷 and would definitely love to see THE IDEA OF YOU number 2 come out 🤞🥰

Just enough aesthetics and glamour to keep the film together. Dialogues were the weakest out of everything. Characters didn't have a graph. Pain of separation could have been expressed better. Even romance didn't have a graph. Oh and camera angles were really undone! Efforts on Cinematography would have made the film many notch better. Low camera angles were terrible. Overall a half baked film with good actors.

I love this film! It’s my favorite one of hers by far! I’ve seen 5-6 times on prime video! Definitely needs a sequel! Anne and Nicholas have such AMAZING chemistry on and off screen! 😍👏🏻. Great romance film 😍👏🏻 , with a great soundtrack! 🎤👏🏻
