This Disney animated feature follows the adventures of the young lion Simba (Jonathan Taylor Thomas), the heir of his father, Mufasa (James Earl Jones). Simba's wicked uncle, Scar (Jeremy Irons), plots to usurp Mufasa's throne by luring father and son into a stampede of wildebeests. But Simba escapes, and only Mufasa is killed. Simba returns as an adult (Matthew Broderick) to take back his homeland from Scar with the help of his friends Timon (Nathan Lane) and Pumbaa (Ernie Sabella).

Its story is Shakespeare-themed, in the most crucial to being perfect possible. The characters are lovable. Simba (Matthew Broderick and Jonathan Taylor Thomas) is a lovable character with a perfect arc. Mufasa (James Earl Jones) is a lovable father, whose death hits hard. Scar (Jeremy Irons) is a cunning, yet charasmatic antagonist, with an incredible design. For the lesser main characters, you have Timon and Pumbaa (Nathan Lane and Ernie Sabella), Sarabi (Madge Sinclair), Nala (Moria Kelly) and Rafiki (Robert Guillamaine). The animation, including colors, action scenes and character designs are beautiful. The songs range from perfect to infinity out of 10. The score is the best ever. The story is iconic, yet unpredictable, with humorous comedy, and a glowing heart. The scene where Simba finds out that Mufasa is still in him, top 3 scenes of all time. Synopsis This Disney animated feature follows the adventures of the young lion Simba (Jonathan Taylor Thomas), the heir of his father, Mufasa (James Earl Jones).
