The Night Eats the World is honestly one of the worst zombie movies I’ve ever watched. The main character is incredibly annoying and hard to root for. He spends most of the movie making dumb decisions and generally being obnoxious, which makes it frustrating since the entire film revolves around him. It’s hard to believe someone like him could realistically survive as long as he does. The movie is also painfully slow. Huge portions of it are just him wandering around his apartment building doing very little, and it quickly becomes boring rather than tense. On top of that, the story has several plot holes and things that just don’t make much sense. Overall, the film tries to be atmospheric and different, but it ends up feeling empty and dragged out. Between the unlikeable main character, the slow pacing, and the weak writing, it’s a really disappointing entry in the zombie genre and you have got to be braindead yourself to enjoy this garbage.

Get on with it? This was a rough, slow watch, I can handle there not being many zombie actions scenes, but to balance it out with almost no character drama either..
