It sets up the idea that something is about to shift or reveal itself, but the story stays flat, with little momentum or escalation. The screenplay is the core problem: it plays like a puzzle being assembled without a final picture. Scenes drift, dialogue dominates, and instead of building tension or clarity, the film keeps circling the same beats until it feels lifeless. That uncertainty carries into the direction, which seems reactive rather than purposeful. By the end, I was more tempted to turn it off than invested in what came next. The actors and actresses are all very good, but Andreja Pejic along with Jim S. Is really special, like coming from another world! She looks like a magnificent alien, beautiful and intriguing and mystical at the same time and there is an obvious chemistry between Jim and her! See more 02/20/2022 The way I see this movie is quite straightforward - it makes you think. It pushes you to delve deep down your soul and find answers to something you see but can not perceive easily. The manner of direction is splendid - it's warm and cozy, with a touch of dreamy effect that makes you all enchanted until you see the final cut of the scene. It's lucid that people are tired nowadays. Most of them don't enjoy witnessing something that remains oblivious. They'd rather sit down with a sandwich and watch kitsch, or a crime story or a fervent romance that usually doesn't occur in life. What does transpire is the verity that we are born with a man and a woman living inside us. They navigate our life, they switch the driver's seat as required - they go hand in hand. It's just some people refuse to see it, some deny it. Some even don't realize it. But I believe that's one of the most important ideas of the film - to signify (in an artsy way) that the moment we acknowledge the aforementioned, the moment we accept it, only then we become complete. You have to think a lot and it's not just a regular Hollywood type of movie. Stunning cinematography and screenplay. Very good actors and director did a very good job portraying misty atmosphere and kept us thinking about the other us. Very good images in Georgia, Europe. "The Other Me" is inside all of us! It's not just identity, the meaning of the movie is very diverse. Movie is unique but it feels like it was mixture of influences like Lynch, Bergman, Nolan, Tarkovsky, Kurosawa and Hitchcock.
