Puzzlingly misguided, Neil LaBute's update The Wicker Man struggles against unintentional comedy and fails.

Sometimes a movie hits the rarest of heights, in fact, some may refer to it as a low. A film that's so utterly bad it's actually good. Go to Full Review

Neil LaBute's knack for biting wit would seem like the perfect fit for remaking Robin Hardy's 1973 classic. Unfortunately what he delivers is an unintentionally funny failure. Go to Full Review

LaBute has replaced the seduction of the first film with a general sense of bewilderment and loss; it's good for building tension but doesn't fit with the payoff. The plot elements lead where they need to go well enough but don't mix particularly well. Go to Full Review

braedan H. @braedan 4d THE BEES!! NOT THE BEES!! AHH! THERE IN MY EYES!! See more Alek B. @AlekSashaBall Oct 20 This movie, I thought it was good in the beginning, and in the middle. I am personally not a big fan of stories that end with injustice, depending on how it's told. I was a little bit under the impression that Nicolas Cage was going to play the type of character who gets his karma, but it's not that at all. I thought the movie was kind of creepy and eerie, but the acting at times was kind of poor. The alternate cut of the film did not do this film much justice, even though the bee helmet has been memed countless times. The music was good, creepy, and eerie. It had a strong cast, but the movie's story was told in a so bad it's good kind of way. See more Brian S Sep 27 A cinematic crime so painful it feels like being burned alive: a shrieking, incoherent mess where camp and incompetence collide, leaving behind not horror, not art, but the worst kind of torture — making me wish I could claw my eyes out rather than endure another frame. See more Jordan M Aug 30 first off watch this back to back with the original. and while i did find the original to be boring it at least had a storyline and decent acting. with this remake after watching this i understand completely why this remake is down there with the fog, rollerball and point break as the worst remakes ever. just horrible acting and storyline and will only be remembered by the ack the bees meme See more Aug 15 what did i just lay my eyeballs on for a straight hour and a half, without blinking in awe of nicholas cages mysteriously both great but also highschool drama club level of acting See more thiago s @Thiagostone Jul 15 Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas de terror são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom See more Read all reviews
