They might've made this movie because they got a good deal on the yacht, but nevertheless they've built a fairly effective thriller. Go to Full Review

I couldn’t help noticing how quickly the script sprung a leak,...never to recover despite the yeoman efforts of star Keira Knightley to serve as a port in a storm of clichés. Go to Full Review

Director Simon Stone seems lost about what to do with this contrived premise and fails to take advantage of its natural claustrophobic nature. Go to Full Review

The first half tends to drag, while the payoff conclusion seems rushed and predictable. Still, 'The Woman in Cabin 10' has its moments—nail biting as they are. Go to Full Review

Micah A. @RT73080098 May 17 Nailed the creepy vibe. Rushed the big reveal a bit. Didn’t build out the characters enough. Missed the mark in someways but overall was a good watch. See more Shy A @RT53491226 May 16 I understand fictional writing needs tension, flawed characters and suspension of disbelief. But this was not that. This was just bad writing disguised as "investigative journalism." The protagonist behaves like an impulsive moron with zero strategy, zero self-preservation instincts, and somehow survives purely because the script keeps dragging her forward. She keeps loudly yapping accusations, revealing what she knows to dangerous people, confronting suspects alone, and making the worst possible decision every single time. An investigative journalist is supposed to observe, gather evidence quietly, think strategically, protect leverage and plan ahead — not emotionally announce every thought out loud like a malfunctioning podcast host trapped in a thriller. At some point the suspense completely dies because you stop thinking "oh no what will happen to her" and start thinking "how the fuck is this idiot still alive?" Absolute load of bullshit writing. See more Bryan B. @heybryan May 10 Completely meh. Knives out much better mystery, girl dragon tattoo much better thriller. See more Jarrod N @RT31584139 Apr 22 I didnt mind this. It was not 'edge of the seat' type of movie but I thought it was enjoyable. I thought Keira Knightley was exceptional. I would recommend. See more rob E @AuburnRob Apr 20 I really enjoyed the movie. Were there parts of the plot in which you need to suspend reality? Yeah, but I didn't choose this movie to watch a documentary, I chose it to escape for a couple of hours. I thought it was a great story of gaslighting that even had the main character second guessing herself with the flashbacks to the woman in the water (in the car). See more Z K. @zzz222 Apr 18 The plot balloon grew steadily, only to deflate into an implausible disappointment. See more Read all reviews
