The misleadingly titled The Wrath of God is both compelling and disappointing. Told as a horror mystery, the long-awaited big reveal at the end reveals only what we've known all along, which has nothing to do with either God or the occult.

Characters are wafer-thin, the tone suffocates us with self-seriousness, the timeline is hacked up for barbecue and the conclusion isn’t surprising... even on a superficial level. This is color-by-numbers stuff passing itself off as a Rembrandt.

Una analogía entre el castigo que Dios daría en el Génesis a quien dañare a Caín y el castigo que un escritor (creyéndose Dios) dió a una mujer por "causar" la muerte de su esposa e hija. Resaltando el hecho de que el castigo de Dios no era proporcional a la falta como lo había dicho en la ley del Talión, si no que al final la proporción del castigo era la que Dios decidía dar (tal como hizo el escritor con Luciana) creo que es por esto que el final puede frustrar a muchos, debido a que es precisamente el mensaje que el director quiere dejar. La ira de Dios al ser aplicada, es perfecta, por tanto las consecuencias y resultados ocurridos después de aplicar esta ira son perfectas. Tal como sucedió; el escritor se sale con la suya y al final se termina quedando con la hermana de la víctima. Una venganza perfecta, porque quien la aplicó, se creía Dios; por tanto, a su consideración, el final también es perfecto en si mismo.

A poor, self serving script. A lawyer doesn't pass her client a very-very important piece of information about the person she is sueing... why? I stopped watching at that point.
