When mankind perfects time travel, the government establishes the Time Enforcement Commission to thwart criminal attempts to alter the timeline. Police officer Walker (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is recruited by TEC Cmdr. Matuzak (Bruce McGill), but soon finds his investigation of Senator Aaron McComb (Ron Silver) being thwarted by elements within the government. When Walker's wife, Melissa (Mia Sara), is attacked, he must travel across time to rescue her and save the future.

It's no Terminator, but for those willing to suspend disbelief and rational thought, Timecop provides limited sci-fi action rewards.

Directed by Peter Hyams without an ounce of suspense, too much testosterone, and little or no reason, Timecop takes the fun out of what has to be one of the most enduring human fantasies to go back and make things right.

RiffTrax presents Time Cop. And the policeman is our friend That song is stuck in my head. Tuned out for the movies story, stayed for the JKVD Buns (how he does the splits is beyond me). Great action and fights, when they were visible. This movie is probably one of the wettest JKVD has been. We have a wannabe Hans Gruber playing the movies villain. We have henchmen that look like punk rockers. We have oversized rooms, and over elaborate time travel. Theres plot points that just dont make any sense, but The RiffTrax makes it bearable and its a blissful 98 mins

Synopsis
