Isaac Kozell New York Magazine/Vulture 12/27/2018
When not confined to the 22-minute restrictions of an up-to-the-minute news show, Noah really likes to stretch out, weaving well-rehearsed tales that always end up with a nice little bow on top. Go to Full Review
John Doyle Globe and Mail 11/27/2018
What emerges is a funny but thoughtful comic who relies as much on evidence as he does on disparagement. He's curiously confident, coolly logical and knows when to slip in a searing joke as an aside. Go to Full Review
Pratim D. Gupta Film Companion 12/20/2018
The best thing about Trevor is he's so likeable. That's such a rare qualification to have in the world of stand-up comedians today. Go to Full Review
Sean L. McCarthy Decider 11/23/2018
Noah shines not so much in the scripted moments, but in the scenes in between. Go to Full Review

sonny p 11/25/2022 I liked this enough but it stills falls flat and feels amateurish. No more clearer is this than the fact the preview contains the best moments See more 03/16/2021 I came looking for more of the same and, while Trevor is still funny in a way that doesn't hurt anybody, this was better than the first one. The jokes are smarter and funnier and his storytelling style never fails to impress, it's different from any other comedian. Definitely another must-see for stand up fans. See more 09/06/2020 BRILLIANT is all I have to say! See more 03/29/2020 He tells some good stories, I was never bored. But I never laughed. Smiled, maybe snorted a few times. See more 07/07/2019 Trevor Noah's insights and storytelling comedy style are as brilliant as they are funny. See more yash b @yashbansal 04/25/2019 I think "Son of Patricia" is slightly less funny than "Afraid of the Dark" was, but I think Trevor Noah kept me interested in his newest comedy special. He's funny and talks about various topics and issues in a way where I just feel inclined to listen to him. It may not be as funny as his previous special, but it's just as enjoyable. I hope to see more comedy specials from him because it's always funny and insightful. See more Read all reviews
