Under the Tree ist eine düstere Schwarze Komödie von Hafsteinn Gunnar Sigurðsson… Weil der Baum von Inga und Baldvin einen Schatten auf das Grundstück der betuchten Nachbarn wirft, entsteht ein heftiger Streit zwischen dem Ehepaar und ihren Nachbarn… Streitende Nachbarn, wer kennt das nicht, aber dieser Streit eskaliert… Eine schwarze Komödie mit giftigem Humor aus Island… Die Charaktere sind gut ausgearbeitet und die Schauspieler sind überzeugend… Gesamthandlung der Inszenierung solide und glaubwürdig…
