Deep in the American South, a back alley absinthe bar harbors a deadly secret: Countess Elizabeth Báthory and her glamorous coven of vampires keep their killer instincts sharp by preying on lonely singles through dating apps, seducing and slaughtering to preserve their youth. But when Elizabeth swipes right on the wrong profiles--a cunning undercover vampire hunter and a band of emotionally stunted bros--the hunt spirals into hilariously horrifying chaos. Blood flies, fangs pierce flesh, and the bar erupts into a glitter-soaked, green fairy-winged, fang-filled fever dream of grindhouse gore, terrible decisions, and fashionably fatal carnage.

It often seems more like a filmed rehearsal for a movie than a fully completed feature Go to Full Review

This loathsome film is as if a Spirit Halloween store was a movie and barely qualifies as schlock entertainment. Go to Full Review

Fortunately, the film has a saving grace with Suvari, who matches the campiness required to make Sherman’s vampire flick worth sinking your teeth into. Go to Full Review

It is almost as if there was a dare to make a bad movie with a great to decent cast and God level vampires, and Sherman was determined to win. Go to Full Review

Boomer7332 Mar 25 One of the worst movies I've ever seen. Waste of time & money! See more zack Mar 23 Entertaining lower budged flick. Sexy vampires were a definite plus. Honestly my biggest complaint was some of the music selections. How you have a vampire movie trying to be sexy without some Deftones or something similar is beyond me See more Vivienne S @viviennesol 2d I loved Vampires. It’s a refreshingly original story stylized to camp perfection, with a slick film noir meets horror edge. The female-forward cast made it even more memorable. I laughed and I squirmed. There’s also an interesting layer about the psychology of vampires and how they get in your head, which felt like a larger allegorical theme. I still find myself quoting Tim Murphy’s line from the beginning "YOU’RE IN MY BRAAAIIIN" lol. See more Dylan S @Natron3000 2d VotVL is wild ride that doesn't stop. The cast is great. The horror is gruesome. The visuals are spectacular. In an age of carbon copies and remakes of the same stuff we've consumed in entertainment for the last 40 years its refreshing to watch something original and special. See more Sam I @SamIam123 3d Vampires of the Velvet Lounge is a straight up vibe and lowkey hypnotic. The performances are awesome, the atmosphere is heavy in a good way. It pulls you into this weird, stylish underground world. If you're into offbeat horror with real personality, this one is definitely worth the watch! See more William Mar 26 Slow the captions down, us old people don’t read that fast. The movie itself was assembled nicely. I guess they needed a narrator. I love the references to The Last Voyage of the Dimitri , that was cool! The change in the vampires power was different, than most vampires movies. All in all it’s easy watching, so be prepared for buckets of blood, and neck biting pleasure! See more Read all reviews
