It’s a refreshingly original story stylized to camp perfection, with a slick film noir meets horror edge. The female-forward cast made it even more memorable. I laughed and I squirmed. There’s also an interesting layer about the psychology of vampires and how they get in your head, which felt like a larger allegorical theme. I still find myself quoting Tim Murphy’s line from the beginning "YOU’RE IN MY BRAAAIIIN" lol. See more Dylan S @Natron3000 2d VotVL is wild ride that doesn't stop. The cast is great. The horror is gruesome. The visuals are spectacular. In an age of carbon copies and remakes of the same stuff we've consumed in entertainment for the last 40 years its refreshing to watch something original and special. It pulls you into this weird, stylish underground world. If you're into offbeat horror with real personality, this one is definitely worth the watch! See more William Mar 26 Slow the captions down, us old people don’t read that fast. The movie itself was assembled nicely. I guess they needed a narrator. I love the references to The Last Voyage of the Dimitri , that was cool! The change in the vampires power was different, than most vampires movies.
