The film’s R rating is well-deserved thanks to the profusion of burnt and dismembered bodies on view in the alien machine’s wake. Unfortunately, the screenplay by Hughes and co-writer James Beaufort leaves much to be desired.

Boring Sean the plot bunch of time no real plot and pretty simple way of defeating the enemy and in general a huge snore fest would suggest if you like any other ganera but good if you like war movies or fast paced movies just not for me

The initial part of the film was pretty straightforward- war hero trying to right the wrongs of previous traumatic experiences after losing brother etc. Overcoming negativities to become elite ranger. Then it went completely left of field with alien robotic robocop like terminator machine that caused havoc and destruction. Completely ridiculous and unbelievable to the point where I thought there was nowhere else for the plot to go, except it managed to find some way of ending by getting our hero (Alan Ritchson) battle the alien soldier in a JCB grader. It was almost like the director made it up as he went along. Crazy, nonsense film.
