In dieser Zeit erwacht das Tagebuch der Anne Frank zum Leben, in Form der rothaarigen Kitty. Kitty ist auf der Suche nach Anne, haben sie doch immer mit einander gesprochen. Doch muss sie feststellen das inzwischen vieles anders ist, von Anne und ihrer Familie ist keine Spur auszumachen. Dennoch ist der Name Anne Frank an nahezu jeder Ecke zu finden, selbst in ihrem Haus mit dem Versteck hinter dem Bücherregal strömen täglich viele Leute hindurch. Kitty ist sauer und will herausfinden was mit ihr passiert ist und warum Anne nicht weitergeschrieben hat. Dieser Film geht ca. 99 Minuten und ist ab 6 Jahren freigegeben. Wir haben hier ein Kriegsdrama in Zeichentrickstil rund um das weltberühmte Tagebuch. Mir gefiel das visuelle sehr, man spielt mit der Darstellung der Augen eines Kindes. Wie Anne sich die Nazis vorstellte oder sich in ihre Traumwelt ausmalte wie Clark Gable auf einem Pegasus die Feinde bekämpft. Ebenso ist jede Szene die mit Anne zu tun hat klasse und spannend. Umso trauriger ist es das man sich die meiste Zeit mit Kitty herumschlagen muss. Die Fantasie Freundin die real wird, sich sogar in ein Straßenkind verliebt und mit Leuten interagieren kann. Warum man Kitty nicht auf die Spur von Anne geschickt hat, die wichtigsten Punkte ihres Lebens zeigt und man stattdessen so einen Quatsch erfindet versteh ich nicht. Zum Schluss muss natürlich die Flüchtlingspolitik noch aufgemacht werden, anstatt sich um das Vermächtnis von Anne Frank und den Juden zu widmen. Am Ende bleibt ein darstellerisch schöner und zur Hälfte toll erzählter Streifen, der aber mit einer uninteressanten und strunzdummen anderen Hälfte verunstaltet wurde. Von mir bekommt der Film 5,5/10 Punkten. Die Hoffnung war groß bei Anne, bis sie im letzten Zug saß der das Lager verließ. The animation is beautifully crafted, bringing both the historical setting and the fantasy elements of life with vibrant visuals and rich detail. The adventure that Kitty undertakes to uncover the truth about Anne's fate is both suspenseful and emotionally resonant, keeping viewers engaged throughout. The film's message is that anyone has the right to live in freedom, no matter their race, religion, or culture. Be forewarned this film does contain moderate profanity.
