Anthony J @jenkinsdraws Apr 4 You couldn't call this a bad movie, there is a charm to it and some very good acting but it just sort of rambled, sometimes tediously. It captures real life, a child and mother's summer but that, in itself, is not entertainment. See more David E @RT07896430 Mar 30 This was a very unusual movie. Visually it was very interesting - set in a shody trailer park with the supremely beautiful Okanagan Valley in British Columbia always present as the backdrop, the wide beaches with the Mountains in the distance and giving it a timeless effect. More importantly the acting was quite convincing although the ending seemed contrived because up to the very end, the future of the main characters seemed completely hopeless. The organ music in almost all the scenes added a certain quality that I can't quite describe. Just that it was amazing, unconventional and touching.
