John Patrick Shanley, who created the classic MOONSTRUCK, brings his sweeping romantic vision to Ireland with Wild Mountain Thyme. The headstrong farmer Rosemary Muldoon (Emily Blunt) has her heart set on winning her neighbor Anthony Reilly’s love. The problem is Anthony (Jamie Dornan) seems to have inherited a family curse, and remains oblivious to his beautiful admirer. Stung by his father Tony's (Christopher Walken) plans to sell the family farm to his American nephew (Jon Hamm), Anthony is jolted into pursuing his dreams in this comedic, moving and wildly romantic tale.

I normally agree with the critic and audience reviews but I truly enjoyed this movie. I thought the acting and writing was excellent. The setting was beautiful. Maybe I was in the right mood but I don't think so. Check it out.

This was a fabulous movie with human insight, love, heartbreak and wonderful acting. One of my very favourite movies. Saw the Rotten tomatoes 25% and said What?. So signed up to review. You are all missing out! It is from 2020. So good!

Just watched this on Netflix. Maybe you need to be in the mood for an Irish Rom Com but I loved it! Emily blunts character was beguiling. The scenery was beautiful. The story was sweet and the dialogue was funny. What more can you ask for. I saw it was made by the same man who did Moonstruck which tracks since I loved that too.
