Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice (2026) 75% 2.5/4 EDIT “As dumb as the junk science of Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice gets, having these ridiculously likable actors steering the ship genuinely helps get you through the silliness.” – Third Coast Review Mar 27, 2026 Full Review They Will Kill You (2026) 67% 2/4 EDIT “There’s a certain brazen quality to the whole affair that I appreciated to a degree, but enthusiasm and good intention don’t always result in an exceptional piece of filmmaking. ” – Third Coast Review Mar 27, 2026 Full Review Alpha (2025) 56% 3/4 EDIT “This one is a bit of a step down for Ducournau, but it’s still perfectly acted, with a few visual stabs that got a gasp or two out of me.” – Third Coast Review Mar 27, 2026 Full Review Marc by Sofia (2025) 74% 2/4 EDIT “I think the problem goes back to Coppola being too close to her subject. She clearly sees something in him all the time, so she doesn’t bother to dig too deep so that the rest of us can share in this knowledge.” – Third Coast Review Mar 27, 2026 Full Review The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist (2026) 90% 3/4 EDIT “Any good issue-driven documentary shouldn’t tell you how to feel about its subject...and on that level, the filmmakers get it right.” – Third Coast Review Mar 27, 2026 Full Review Tow (2025) 78% 2.5/4 EDIT “Tow sometimes feels a bit like a Movie of the Week, but with much better actors attached.” – Third Coast Review Mar 27, 2026 Full Review Ready or Not 2: Here I Come (2026) 74% 1.5/4 EDIT “Because of the ridiculous amounts of blood in Ready or Not 2, it technically qualifies as a horror movie, I guess, but there isn’t an iota of anything scary...” – Third Coast Review Mar 27, 2026 Full Review Project Hail Mary (2026) 95% 3.5/4 EDIT “thanks to the wonderful combination of top-notch performances and awe-inspiring visual effects, we’ve stumbled upon the first great studio film of 2026...” – Third Coast Review Mar 27, 2026 Full Review undertone (2025) 72% 3/4 EDIT “undertone is an exercise in minimalist filmmaking, until it isn’t.” – Third Coast Review Mar 16, 2026 Full Review Reminders of Him (2026) 55% 2/4 EDIT “Reminders of Him isn’t terrible or unwatchable—the two leads are too interesting for that—but it left me unmoved...” – Third Coast Review Mar 16, 2026 Full Review Hoppers (2026) 94% 3/4 EDIT “[Hoppers] features an emotional depth that is clearly aimed at older audience members and might even result in small amounts of crying from all ages. ” – Third Coast Review Mar 16, 2026 Full Review THE BRIDE! (2026) 58% 3/4 EDIT “The Bride! is loud, brash, and fully in your face with both its visuals and messages...” – Third Coast Review Mar 16, 2026 Full Review For Worse (2025) 76% 2.5/4 EDIT “With any luck, For Worse will be the first of many works directed by [Landecker}...” – Third Coast Review Mar 16, 2026 Full Review Paul McCartney: Man on the Run (2025) 100% 3/4 EDIT “What emerges is a period marked by a growing family, risky music making, and a full reinvention until he and the listening public were able to synch up again.” – Third Coast Review Feb 28, 2026 Full Review In the Blink of an Eye (2026) 16% 2/4 EDIT “...two-thirds of this movie failed to really engage or make me care about the outcome of either of those families” – Third Coast Review Feb 28, 2026 Full Review Wuthering Heights (2026) 57% 2.5/4 EDIT “I get that these two insanely attractive people are drawn to each other, but give us something more than animal magnetism that connects them.” – Third Coast Review Feb 13, 2026 Full Review Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie (2025) 98% 3.5/4 EDIT “Nirvanna The Band are a great comedy team, and I’m excited to experience their next chapter, after I stop laughing from this one.” – Third Coast Review Feb 13, 2026 Full Review Cold Storage (2026) 79% 2.5/4 EDIT “...A big goofy thrill ride...” – Third Coast Review Feb 13, 2026 Full Review The Moment (2026) 67% 2/4 EDIT “The Moment left me baffled and eager to see a more genuine behind-the-curtain peak at Charli’s chaotic life; whatever this is feels artificial and soulless.” – Third Coast Review Feb 9, 2026 Full Review Whistle (2025) 64% 2.5/4 EDIT “...it certainly has it moments of creative kills and possibly even finding a way to avoid getting killed.” – Third Coast Review Feb 9, 2026 Full Review The Rip (2026) 79% 3/4 EDIT “The Rip is a consistently tense, heated, ramped-up thriller of the highest order and a great excuse to see Damon and Affleck sharing the screen once again...” – Third Coast Review Jan 16, 2026 Full Review 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026) 92% 3.5/4 EDIT “Director DaCosta has done something remarkable in her Rage Virus entry, in that she’s made a film that is uniquely her own while still incorporating a bit of the style and technique used by Boyle in the past.” – Third Coast Review Jan 16, 2026 Full Review Greenland 2: Migration (2026) 48% 2/4 EDIT “I’m not saying the movie is great or even good, but it is a fascinating take on the apocalypse, so I’ll give them points for originality...but not on much else.” – Third Coast Review Jan 12, 2026 Full Review The Voice of Hind Rajab (2025) 94% 3.5/4 EDIT “With a furious pace, emotionally driven tension, and heightened, unforgettable performances, The Voice of Hind Rajab is one of the more unforgettable and harrowing experiences you’ll have in this or any year.” – Third Coast Review Jan 12, 2026 Full Review Rosemead (2025) 88% 3/4 EDIT “The film isn’t going to sit well with many, but it is based on a painfully true story, so you can’t exactly fault the moviemakers for making bad story choices.” – Third Coast Review Jan 10, 2026 Full Review
