It's been two years since the gang known as the Wolfpack narrowly escaped disaster in Bangkok. Now, Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms) and Doug (Justin Bartha) have happy lives at home -- but Alan (Zach Galifianakis) doesn't. Still lacking contentment and a sense of purpose, Alan has gone off his meds and surrendered to his natural impulses. It's up to the other members of the Wolfpack to get him through his personal crisis by embarking on a road trip to the place it all began: Las Vegas.

If you loved The Hangover but loathed its nastier, cruder, non-hilarious sequel - apart from that quite amusing monkey - you'd be right to approach this threequel with caution.

It's such tired schtick, such a nakedly calculated play to be "controversial," for an increasingly irrelevant filmmaker to get attention. He used to do so by making funny movies.

By ditching the flashback structure from the first two films and bringing in elements and hues of road movies, parenting dramas, and even violent crime thrillers, the result is certainly different than repeating the first movie again like a cookie-cutter.

Bradley Cooper, Ken Jeong, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis are still hilarious in this third drunken romp. Director Todd Phillips’ sex comedy The Hangover Part III (2013) is wild. I did feel sad when it ended. That final hallway scene set to Kanye West’s "Dark Fantasy" was an awesome sendoff to these oddballs. I’ll miss these crazy characters. Bradley Cooper is still an awesome hero as apathetic drunkard Phil Wenneck. Ed Helms is still hysterical as the loser dentist Dr. Stu Price. Justin Bartha gets a few funny moments as The Wolfpack’s buddy Doug Billings. Zach Galifianakis is nuts as the deranged immature Alan Garner. Ken Jeong is truly outrageous as the crazy Chinese gangster on the run named Mr. Leslie Chow. Jeong is unleashed here for full comedic effect. Mike Epps is so funny as the drug dealer and enforcer Black Doug. John Goodman is phenomenal as the drug lord Marshall. He’s intimidating, serious, and very funny.

I dislike how it didn’t start with a bachelor party. Thats a consistent thing in hangover movies. Very sad and not good movie in my opinion. Would skip.
