Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere is a very solid documentary, with Theroux doing an excellent job of staying composed under pressure from his subjects. By simply letting them talk, he uncovers their deeper insecurities and issues. The film covers a wide range of topics, effectively highlighting both the hypocrisy and pervasiveness of the manosphere. While it can feel dull and repetitive at times and likely won’t change the views of those entrenched in this world, it’s still an important watch. The more people aware of this issue, the better, and we need to start engaging young men with more positive messages.

If you need an example of why the internet is the downfall of civilization this is a good example. these men are so repulsive yet seem to draw in young men into their sphere. Just sickening but great doc to expose it

Entertaining and important work, a good start for people to take interest in this kind of parallel world. It does not succeed in uncovering too many new truths and mechanisms about the forefront of these sexist figures, though.

Definitely recommend it - especially for men and boys. Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere is a calm, unsettling, sharply observed look at the toxic performance of modern masculinity and the influencers selling it as truth. Theroux’s measured approach lets these men expose themselves, and that restraint makes the film more disturbing, and more valuable, than a louder takedown would have been. It’s not always an easy watch, but it feels like essential viewing for anyone trying to understand how this rhetoric spreads and why it lands.
