John S @JohnSmoop Jan 4 I was given a cinema membership for my birthday with a few free tickets. This was my first ever National Theatre live experience and I was astounded. I left the cinema on such an extraordinary high having seen the skilful way Jack Lowden and Martin Freeman brought this gem of a play to life. Thank you everyone involved in creating acting, writing, shooting and directing The Fifth Step. Being in such good 'virtual' seats was mesmerising- I guess down to superb camera work. I had a lot of respect for both of these actors before, but now I have seen them as the two 'ordinary' blokes at the AA meeting.. I am frankly blown away by their skill and craft. Ovation from me, thank you. See more Read all reviews
